Wonderful Child's or Doll Hand Mirror with Gold Tone Rope Style Handle and Casing
The 19th century saw wonderful artisan made vanity items come into fashion. Though the making of artisan things for children and dolls began much earlier and why may are decorated with victorian style graphics and findings.
This little mirror is in excellent condition for its age. The gold tone metal is bright and undamaged. The back features a victorian courting scene with a nice palette of pastel shades. The mirror is clear and unblemished. I suspect it belonged to a cherished doll.
This little antique is 4 inches long and almost 2 inches wide in diameter.
