Art Deco Style Mid Century Compact Made In The USA
Finding something in box untouched still in its original packaging is just a joy! It shows how good the quality of mid century American products were at that time.
I have a small collection of these antique compacts in their original Van Ace boxes. There was one that had been opened that gave me the opportunity to photograph the interior sections and leave the others in their original wrappers.
The van ace boxes are just a little scuffed but in very good condition.
This compact has a brass tone finish with black enamel strips on either side. There is a new puff in each set. The van ace patented design featured a separate compartment for the powder and the puff as well as a mirrored lid. The compact is wrapped in a cellophane wrapper.
The compact is 3 1/2 inches long. Only 1 NIOB compact available in the wrapper.
