Antique Nautical Maritime Binoculars

Turn of the Century Brass Naval Binoculars

Wonderful antique looking glasses from the late 1800's. Many of these were inscribed but this pair has no markings. They have a hand made leather case for protection that seems much younger than the binoculars. It has minimal signs of wear. 

The 4 x 3 inch binoculars are in good condition with all moving mechanisms working. As with anything over 120 years old, I recommend care when handling. The brass has begun to tarnish a bit and good use a gentle cleaning.

These are a great decorator piece for a nautical themed space or a gift for an avid naval or boating collector. We can only imagine where they have been and what they have seen.
