This 61 year old Cookbook is in near new condition. The deep red hard board covers are not faded or stained. The Print and graphics are very clear.

There are over 400 pages of wonderful tried and true Recipes curated by State. There is a large index and a number of blank pages for hand written notes. This cookbook could be a "go to" reference in any kitchen. 

Each state has a section telling some of the story of the food in the region developed along with some very funny tidbits commonly told at the time. The Large Cookbook reads like a novel of food, family and life. 

I hope someone will take it home and use it often. Fill it with hand written notes and pass it along to another generation. With some stains on the pages!
