Mid-Century Hull Pottery Trifoil Flower Vase
The early half of the 1900's brought us wonderful heirloom pieces created by production potteries that thrived in post war era. Folks needed jobs. Skilled workers created beautiful vessels and serving peices.
Hull Pottery graced many a home. Soft muted glazes in pastel colors brought to life the work of talented potters. This lovely vase is a fine example. The Trefoil design has a art deco shape. The glaze in true earthy hues is mindful if a ripe watermelon with its rosy pink and green hues. The Hull Vase is a very attention drawing display for your spring and summer blossoms.
As all things that are nearly 75 years old it has a minor scar. There is a chip along the top edge of one section as shown in the photo. I haven't found any other issues. The Hall Mark is clearly visible on the bottom of the vase. it has good weight to keep it stable while holding long stem flowers such as tulips.
The vase stands just shy of 9 1/2 inches tall. It has a diameter of approximately 6 inches.
